My brand new published book, The Beginner’s Guide to Gluten-Free Vegan Baking is now available in stores and online! This gluten-free, vegan dessert cookbook featured 60 easy plant-based desserts for any occasion.
It’s herrrreee!!! After months of planning, recipe development, stying and photographing, my second cookbook has made its way into the world and I am SO EXCITED to share it with you! In this game-changing baking book, I’ve shared my essential tips and tricks for avoiding common gluten-free vegan baking mishaps, so that you can feel more confident baking gluten-free and vegan. Finally, you can satisfy any sweet craving regardless of dietary restrictions!
The chapters are organized by topics like egg swaps, dairy and butter alternatives, batter consistency and natural sweeteners, so you learn to problem-solve while building your baking repertoire. The Beginner’s Guide to Gluten-Free Vegan Baking cookbook is packed with invaluable information and full-color photographs for each recipe included. This is the must-have handbook for anyone interested in crafting exceptional sweets that just happen to be gluten-free and vegan.
All of the dessert recipes included in this book are gluten-free and vegan, but there are also a handful of recipes that are grain-free too! While you might not be familiar with some of the specialty ingredients used in this book, like banana flour for instance, I really urge you to step out of your comfort zone and try them! These specialty food items have become some of my favorite to use in the kitchen. Other ingredients are more common, like banana, avocado, applesauce, and nut/seed butter.
Also included in The Beginner’s Guide to Gluten-Free Vegan Baking are six dessert swap staples that can be used in a variety of ways- like my Simple Buttercream Frosting, Light & Flaky Pie Crust, No-Churn Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream, Fluffy Coconut Whipped Cream, Vegan Caramel Sauce, and Chocolate Ganache!
And there’s also a superfood powder section to not only help your baked treats look amazing without the harsh chemicals found in food dyes, but to also bring some nutritional value to the recipes… desserts with nutrients?! You betcha!
