How To Plump Your Raisins

Using fresh, plump raisins will make the tastiest treat. If your raisins are a bit on the dry side, you can easily plump them up using one of these methods:

Soaking The Raisins In Water

To soak the raisins, place them in a bowl or jar and cover the raisins with water. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1-3 days, allowing the raisins to plump. This is the best method for the most plump raisins, however, it does take the longest so you’ll need quite a bit of planning ahead of time. When you’re ready to use the raisins, strain them first and then add to the melted chocolate.

How to Store

Keep stored in an air tight container in the fridge for a few days.

Yes! You can store them in an airtight container or in a freezer bag. I recommend waiting until they are set up completely before transferring to the freezer. You can keep these stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
