High Protein Vegan Cannoli Dip

This High Protein Vegan Cannoli Dip is the perfect no-bake cannoli-flavored dessert to serve at your next party without all the work! This vegan dessert dip is made with dairy-free ingredients and plant protein powder and served with your choice of dippers!

Ingredients

Almond flour. Creates the classic soft, rich cookie dough texture while adding healthy fats and plant-based protein. You’ll want to use a fine, blanched almond flour for the best dip texture.

Vanilla protein powder. Gives this dip its protein boost and helps create a sweet, creamy cookie dough flavor. I used this vanilla plant-based protein.

Salt. Just enough to balance sweetness and bring out the cookie dough taste.

Peanut butter. Helps bring the dip together and makes the dip extra creamy while contributing additional protein. Cashew, almond, or sunflower seed butter also work. I used my Homemade Dry Roasted Peanut Butter.

Homemade Dry Roasted Peanut Butter (oil free!)

Making your own peanut butter at home is so easy and so incredibly delicious! This Homemade Dry Roasted Peanut Butter is made with just 2 ingredients in a food processor or blender. Simply roast raw peanuts with a little salt and then blend them into a creamy and dreamy peanut butter with no added oils!

Maple syrup. Naturally sweetens the dip.

Pure vanilla extract. Enhances the classic cookie dough flavor.

Dairy-free yogurt. Makes the dip smooth and scoopable while adding a little extra protein and a subtle tang. I used dairy-free greek-style yogurt.

Unsweetened plant milk. Helps loosen the texture to create the perfect dip consistency.

Mini dark chocolate chips. Adds bursts of chocolate throughout for that authentic chocolate chip cookie dough experience. I recommend the mini chocolate chips– they’re perfect for a dip like this, but you may also use regular chocolate chips. Just be mindful of the sugar and diary content.

How to Make High Protein Cookie Dough Dip

Step 1: Combine the dry ingredients

Add the almond flour, protein powder, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk (or beat with a hand blender) until evenly combined.

Step 2: Add the wet ingredients

Mix in the peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, dairy-free yogurt, and plant milk.

Step 3: Stir until smooth

Continue mixing until thick, creamy, and fully incorporated. Adjust the consistency with an additional splash of plant milk if needed.

Step 4: Fold in chocolate chips

Gently stir in the mini dark chocolate chips.

Step 5: Chill and serve

Transfer to the refrigerator for about 15–20 minutes to allow the flavors to develop and the texture to thicken. Serve with your choice of dippers.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving since the protein powder may absorb moisture over time. I don’t recommend freezing this dip.

Recipe Tips

  • Chill before serving—it tastes even more like cookie dough.
  • Use fine blanched almond flour for the smoothest texture.
  • Start with less plant milk and add more gradually.

FAQ’s

Can I make this nut-free?

Yes. Replace the almond flour with oat flour and use sunflower seed butter.

Can I use a different protein powder?

Yes. Vanilla protein works best for classic cookie dough flavor, but chocolate protein would make a fun variation.
