My Creamy Vegan Hot Cocoa Dip was a big hit this past Christmas, so I thought it would be fun to do a pink white chocolate version! 🩷 This recipe uses strawberry powder for natural color and flavor, coconut milk for richness and fluffiness, and maple syrup for sweetness. Mini marshmallows add a nostalgic, hot-cocoa-dip-style twist that makes this dip extra fun and scoopable.

Ingredients

Coconut milk. Coconut milk gives this dip its rich, creamy base without any dairy. Using the thicker part of the milk, the solid white part, helps create that smooth, scoopable texture that makes this dip so irresistible. You can buy either coconut cream, or full fat coconut milk and use the solid part only.

Strawberry powder. Strawberry powder adds natural strawberry flavor and that beautiful pink color all in one. It blends right into the coconut milk, giving the dip a fruity sweetness without watering it down. I used this freeze-dried strawberry powder.

Maple syrup. Maple syrup lightly sweetens the dip while keeping the flavor clean and balanced. It also helps smooth everything together so the dip tastes rich and creamy but not overly sweet.

White chocolate chips. Melted vegan white chocolate chips adds an extra layer of sweetness and a subtle white chocolate richness to the dip that pairs deliciously with the strawberry flavor.

Vanilla. Vanilla adds that mild, delicious vanilla flavor rounding everything out. Make sure to use pure vanilla extract.

Salt. A small pinch of salt helps balance the sweetness and brings out the strawberry and vanilla flavors.

Marshmallows. Mini marshmallows add a fun, nostalgic twist and little pops of fluffy sweetness throughout the dip. They also give it that hot-cocoa-dip vibe that makes it perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Tips for the Best Strawberry Dip

  • Use freeze-dried strawberry powder for the best flavor and natural pink color.
  • If your coconut milk is too thin (if you can shake the can and it seems like there’s no solid portion), chill the can overnight to use mostly the solid cream.
  • the longer you whip the coconut cream on high speed, the fluffier it will be.

Dip Storage

Store leftover strawberry dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving.
