Description

These Vegan Maple Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts are the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and savory. Tender roasted Brussels sprouts are tossed with crispy vegan bacon and a rich maple glaze for an irresistible side dish. Perfect for holidays or weeknight dinners, they’re sure to win over even the pickiest eaters!

Ingredients

Scale

24 ounces brussels sprouts, washed and sliced in half

1 shallot, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 cup vegan bacon bits (see notes!)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash and slice the brussels sprouts. Dry them well and then add them to a large bowl along with the sliced shallot, olive oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper, and bacon bits. Spread everything on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through. They are done when they are crispy. Serve right away. Leftovers may be stored in an airtight container in the fridge and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
