Description

Satisfy your churro cravings with these No‑Bake Almond Flour Churro Bites—a vegan, gluten‑free treat made with simple, wholesome ingredients like almond flour, almond butter, cinnamon and maple syrup. Rolled in cane sugar for that classic churro taste, these quick and easy bites are perfect for snacking, meal prep, or dessert. Enjoy a healthier twist on a nostalgic favorite without turning on the oven!

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups almond flour

1/4 cup almond butter (I used white almond butter)

2 teaspoons cinnamon (I used ceylon cinnamon)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (I used this one)

1/2-1 cup cane sugar or sugar substitute (see notes)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, almond butter, cinnamon, salt, maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir until a dough forms—it should be soft and slightly sticky but easy to roll. Scoop out about a 1/2 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll it into balls.
  2. Add the cane sugar to a shallow dish, then roll each bite in the mixture until fully coated. Chill them in the fridge for about 15–20 minutes to firm up—or enjoy right away if you’re feeling impatient! Keep them stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up 5 days.

To make this a refined sugar-free recipe you can swap out the cane sugar for monk fruit sweetener or you can use coconut sugar.
